InkSlinger PR Hosted Release Blitz for MISS FIX-IT by Emma Hart!

One handywoman.

One single dad.

One set of twins.

And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…

I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.

Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.

Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.

On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.

In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.

I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.

And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.

Oops…

“Deal with it,” I echoed, my mouth dry. “What exactly do you mean by that?”
He glanced at my mouth.
“Okay, but, um, here’s the thing.” I couldn’t breathe. I sounded like a panting idiot trying to get the words out between each short, sharp breath I took. “This,” I motioned between us, “is bad.”
“Bad.” His lips tugged to the side.
“Yes. Because,”—help. Someone help—“because this isn’t allowed. Company rules. No cavorting with clients.”
“No cavorting with clients.” That half-smile turned into a full-blown grin. “That’s very…proper.”
“Well, I can’t exactly put, “No sleeping with the clients” now, can I?”
“You could have, but it would have been unfortunately precise.”
“I should change that.”
“I disagree.”
I licked my lips. “You should agree. Because this is—”
“Bad. You said.” More lip twitching.
“I thought you were sorry you made it awkward by kissing me.”
“That was before I found out you were attracted to me. Now, I’m a lot less sorry I kissed you.”
Oh. Well. Fair enough.
“Should I take back my acceptance of your apology?” I asked.
“You should stop talking and see how you feel when I’ve kissed you again.”

Final Score - 5 Stars!

Woman who fixes rooms for a living ... and a Man who needs some fixing in both his personal life and in his home.  Miss Fix-It is filled with love, laughter, tears and sexy times galore!

Brantley is a single dad of twins who's just moved to the area and needs help creating bedrooms for his precocious young ones.  He hires K. Hancock, with out every having met them to accomplish his job.  Who he gets is Kali and from their first meeting - both are intrigued with the other.  However, Kali is not looking for Mr. Right, just Mr. Right Now and certainly not anyone with children.

What I loved most about this book is Kali's relationship with her mother (in actuality her step-mother).  Totally believable and an endearing look at how step-parents play a critical role in child rearing as well.  It was nice to see a story where the mother figure wasn't trying usurp or use her hierarchy in the relationship against anyone.

I absolutely adored Brantley’s kids!  Ellie and Eli - I need to keep these names in the forefront in case I ever have children.  These little gems added so much to the story, with their sweetness and hilarity - I had a laugh headache whenever they appeared in the story.  I enjoyed and LOL'd  Brantley’s no holds barred outlook/philosophy on child rearing such twins - it was honest, and refreshing to read it authenticity. I also enjoyed the natural progression of Kali, Brantley and his children's relationship.

I will definitely be keeping my eyes open in the future for more books by Ms. Hart.

Review: Wicked Torture

Wicked Torture Wicked Torture by J. Kenner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Final Score - 5 Wickedly Awesome Stars!

The often say that the best is saved for last ... and in this case, I couldn't agree more!

This was so good and I love that a few of the characters from previous  Stark universe books pop up in this one.  Now, you don't need to go running to read the entire series - this is a standalone, so you won't be lost if you have not read anything Stark related previously.

Noah is a character we previously were introduced to in the S.I.N. series.  He worked with Dallas and the Deliverance organization, but now he is heading up SATA in Austin for Stark Industries. He's suffered real loss - his wife and child were kidnapped and murdered 10 years before the book starts.  It's something he's never gotten over and its what driven him.

Kiki King has also suffered read loss - the love of her life walked out on her and she's never really gotten over it.  It has fueled both her personal and professional lives in different ways - she's driven to succeed in her marketing business after having abandoned her music career, but keeps men from entering her heart.

After a blind date, Noah wanders into a bar he frequents.  There, someone on stage catches his attention. Kiki is performing for the first time in more than 10 years.  She gets off stage and catches a glimpse of a red headed man.  Chasing him down, Noah and Kiki come face to face for the first time in more than 10 years.  At one time, they were happy & in love, the truest definition of soulmates who were even engaged.  That is until Noah left, and Kiki - who was devastated at his loss - left her singing career.

Can these two former lovers overcome their complicated past to forge a new future together? Or will the past rear it's ugly head and drive them further apart?

This book was packed with emotion - so much so I was a crying mess with a terrible headache afterwards.  But it was so worth reading Noah & Kiki struggling to achieve their second chance at happiness.  J. Kenner knows how to do angst, emotional overload, and happy endings like no other!  She's my definite go to person - #oneclick.  Each time she opens a new series set in the Stark universe, I'm there!

I can't wait for the next adventure.

Enticing Journey Book Promotions Hosted Cover Reveal for BAD HABIT by Charleigh Rose!

Title: Bad Habit
Author: Charleigh Rose
Genre: New Adult Romance
Release Date: Coming Soon

BRIAR
I was infatuated with Asher Kelley the moment he came tumbling through my brother’s window five years ago.
Even bruised and bloodied, he was the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen.
We couldn't ever be together.
I was too young, and he was too untouchable.
He was too troubled, and I was too na├»ve.
But the heart is rebellious, and mine decided it didn’t care about any of those things.
As I got older, harmless flirting turned to stolen moments in dark corners.
Until one day, he was gone without a trace.
Now, two years later, he’s back.
Callous and cruel.
He’s my brother’s best friend. My parents’ worst nightmare.
I should hate him.
But like a Bad Habit, I can’t quit him.

ASHER
I was drawn to Briar Vale from the first time she looked up at me with stars in her big, blue eyes.
She was just a kid, nothing but elbows and knees, but she was the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen.
We could never be together.
I was too old and she was too off limits.
She was too good and I was too fucked up.
Eventually, the temptation became too much to resist.
I risked everything for a kiss and she betrayed me.
Two years have passed and I’m forced to see her again, but now she's all grown up.
She’s my best friend’s baby sister. My downfall.
I hate her for what she did.
But she's always been my drug of choice.
