This book was such a great listen, I had to do it twice! The voice actors are living rent free in my head now. OMG, especially the voices for Kiernan and Achilles. Like I want to be a #Kierilles sandwich. I originally didn't want to read this - due to the many trigger warnings - but when the ALC opportunity came up, I couldn't pass it up. And I am fist pumping the air that I didn't. I killed this book in 48 hours. Then immediately went back to listen to #BadBishop (I already bought the audible book) and then, re-listened to this. MY GAWD!!!
Tierney symoblized the phoenix to me during the entirity of this story. No matter what, she always rose from the ashes, dusted herself off and camp back with fists swinging. She is the ultimate emobodiement of the PHOENIX. Achilles ... my warped, depraved, murderous stalker - I wanted to hate you SO bad, but I just fell down - sick in love with him. Seriously! I want that kind of obsessive love and I dont' care how crazy that sounds. Achilles is worth it.
This book is a #MUSTREAD and a definite #MUSTLISTEN! Get the special edition book (check, I've done so) and get the audible book (check, Check - as I have the ALC given and bought it also on Audible). Read/Listen together. You won't be disappointed!
