I have to admit ... I wasn't in love with this story - at first.  It took me some time to connect to the characters.  I absolutely fell hard for the tiny island that Ramsay calls home.

Ramsay was a tough nut to crack and an enough tougher character to connect to. I didn't like his gruff, put off attitude.  Tierney really gave him far more grace that I ever would have.  How these two got together was a pill that was hard to swallow.  The side characters of Quinn, Cammie, London and especially Taran I formed more connections to (cannot wait for Taran's HEA!).

Tierney was tough, but she had an edge to her that was a bit off-putting. I get that she wanted to prove herself, but it just come across as a big chip on her shoulder - which didn't need to be there.

The bonus scene was nice to read and sort of sets up the next - which I'm dying for! All in all, this was an interesting read and as always, Scotland not only comes to life but is calling me to travel there. Like bucket list soon.a
