Oh me, oh my, oh wow Braxton! I think your competing with Ryan in my heart.

This book was not as original as others seem to think (this reads like a soap opera plot at times), but it take it further. The emotional aspects are what cinched this for me and Braxton in my heart. He utter devastation at finding the one person who got him (even at a young age) and losing her so tragically - upended his life. No one else could ever compare. Sabrina was it for him. Really gave me Damien vibes in his utter devotion to her and her memory.

Just when he's on solid ground again - new job and living his life - a bomb gets dropped on him and he's thrown back 15 yrs to the day and circumstances that took Sabrina from him. The bomb being her identical-never knew before-sister, Samantha. And here I smelled a rat and something fishy was cooking. I won't give it away but to say I knew it from day 1! Seriously? I see to many soaps where this happens. In any case, it was a ride - a very enjoyable one at that - and I'm so happy every worked out for Brax in the end. He truly deserved peace of mind and heart. He had suffered enough.

The intrigue, the anticipation, the is she/isn't she, elevated this story to a level so much higher than anything I've read before. This is one rollercoaster of a ride you don't want to miss!
