What a follow up to "Only You", even though this is a brand new series starter! We got to meet Sloane and Walker in "Only You" and the chemistry carried forward and burn this book into my retinas! I love burly, alpha Scotsmen meet strong, independent single mom w/adorable child tropes. *le sigh*
I ate this book in less than 2 days, I could not put it down. This emotional story pacts a lot of past baggage for our hero and heroine - both have been left with scars. But it was beautiful to see them push aside their fears and forge forward with a relationship neither one expected but both desired beyond measure.
As always, it was great to revisit established characters and be introduced to new ones as well. I have a felling a certain Scottish recluse and property manager will have their story told - soonish? *wink*
I absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend this book and previous series.
