Review: Here With Me

Here With Me Here With Me by Samantha Young
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Final Score - 4 Stars!

This was one of my most anticipated books and yet I struggled to get to it as RL issues were plaguing me.  However, I have finally finished it!  And I'm glad I took my time in reading it.  Took a day and stewed a bit in forming my review because this one folks - brought up a lot of emotions regarding my childhood.  Robyn - I see you.  I am you.  I understand and girl, I've got your back always!

The story and the main characters hit me with ALL THE FEELS!  Off the charts crying (many tissues died), laughing at Robyn & Lachlan's never ending banter war (belly aches galore), and just frustrated by the many questions this book has brought to light (Arro & Mac?!).  This deliciously hot enemies-to-lovers romance is chalk full of out of this world chemistry, angst, and good old fashion sexual tension.  Just what I needed - a happy escape.

I was completely engrossed with the highlands, the Adair family, and I never wanted to resurface - unfortunately, my dog had something to say about that. Samantha Young hypnotizes you with her unique characters &  a love story that will haunt you - all weaved together to form a love letter of sorts to Scotland.  I adore her descriptive story settings where Scotland is actively described, so I can imagine myself surround in its beauty - definitely have to visit there and will be moving it UP on my #bucketlist of places to visit.  I feel like it's another character in the book and I'm in love.

Definitely on my TOP 5 favorite books I’ve read this year.  I cannot wait to see what happens next after that last scene.  Counting down the days until the next book in this series!
