Review: Spying Under the Mistletoe

Spying Under the Mistletoe Spying Under the Mistletoe by Stina Lindenblatt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Final Score - 4 Stars!

This is easily a weekend read.  It was quick & enjoyable.  There are, at times, some suspense, intrigue and of course - plenty of heat.

Chloe is a firecracker and Landon is a man on mission - not to fail at any cost.  However, a room full of five year old intimate's him.  That was hilarious to witness! Of course, there is the mafia family (which is the purpose of Landon's mission), painful truths that come to light (causing heartache for our dear Chloe), and of all of it happens while these two are falling for one another - which is the last thing that either one wants - while planning a talent show for a seniors home.

The enjoyed the plot and I couldn’t wait to get back to it to find out how it all ended (all this while trying to work from home as well as take care of a dog).  This cast of characters as well as the secondary/supporting characters only added to my enjoyment.  The group of elderly characters just made me spit out my morning coffee daily (so much so, I had to re-read passages to make sure I had read it right!).

Can't wait for the next installment in this series!
