I just loving reading more about Damien & Nikki Stark's life, but this book is ALL Damien - insight into his inner thoughts. Wishes. Desires. *Cue the fans*
Now, I always had a feeling that there was so much more to Damien than meets the eye ... and boy was I proven right! This book I have a feeling is just a taste of it - enough to wet our collective palates, but not enough to satisfy our thirsts.
Nikki and Damien have been thru a lot in recent events, which has left them both both spinning a bit out of control. For this ultimate alpha, it leaves him questioning his role as their protector. But Damien being Damien is not one to let things out of his control for long and he's on a mission to protect those he loves - whatever the cost and sacrifices he has to make.
I hope to see more Damien-centric novellas in the future as I would love to see of more of the inner workings of his mind.
