Review: Bro Code

Bro Code Bro Code by Kendall Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Final Score - 4 Stars!

Barrett and Nick have been best friends since childhood.  Ava is Nick’s little sister, and Barrett has also know her since she was a child.  However, all that changed when Ava grew up into a beautiful woman Barrett could no longer look at as just his friend's little sister.  But, he can't break the "bro code".  That's a definite NO.

Flash forward and Barrett is now a lawyer and is in town for a retirement party for Nick and Ava’s father.  Ava has decided to leave her job & apartment in the city and take over the family business.  To complicate matter further, Barrett and Ava are staying in her parents house, just doors away from one another.  Can Barrett uphold the Bro Code with Ava so near?  Does Ava feel the same?  What will the fallout be if Barrett decides to forgo the bro code and pursue Ava?

Ava and Barrett had great chemistry and the build up to their eventual get together was a slow burn that quickly turned into flames.   Their attraction to each other was so sexy and HAWT.  I was a bit annoyed at times with Barrett - as he kept using “Bro Code” as his rule for not going any further with Ava.

Bro Code is a sexy and fun pseudo-forbidden romance to read. There is  some light drama but it doesn't take away but rather enhance the story.  I was a bit disappointed that there was very little time invested with the brother, Nick.  I would have liked to see more of his friendship with Barrett and his relationship with his sister, Ava.
