This was a good read, although it did take me a minute to get into it. But when I did - oh man! I couldn't put it down.
This is the first book I've read by this author. I enjoyed the backstory & the characters immensely. I know that I need to read more by her. I have to say, I saw the direction the book was going in and I enjoyed being taken on that ride. I never once felt it may get boring or that the story may drag on.
I in fact didn't want the story to end! The characters were very well developed and we're so easy to like, especially little Maddie!
I can't wait to read more by this author now!
