Review: Mister Wrong

Mister Wrong Mister Wrong by Nicole Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Final Score - 5 Messy Twin Stars!

What would you do if the woman you love was about to marry your identical twin? There lies the crux of this story as Matt Adams is about to witness such an event.  I honestly can't say what I would do, but what Matt does is nothing short of unexpected, slightly underhanded, and ultimately had me questioning his sanity!!!

Matt has loved Cora Matthews all his life. Matt has always been there for Jacob, so of course he decides to help his brother, by standing in for him at his wedding - since his brother Jacob has not shown up.  This is where I question not only his mental state but his morals - because he goes through with it and marries Cora.   Matt knows that Cora loves his brother and he doesn't want her to go through with the embarrassment of there being no wedding.  Why?  Seems Cora's relationship with Jacob is not as perfect as everyone else believes.  Which lead me to question - Just why is Cora marrying Jacob?  What will happen when the truth comes out? What happens with the betrayal of such a colossal mess? What happens when the lives of three people are changed forever?

Even through all the ups and downs of this story, Matt stole my heart! The way he cared for Cora and the way he hid his feelings all those years (which he had opportunity time & time again to tell her).  He was always there for her even though her eyes were set on his brother.  His love for Cora never wavered.

Jacob is another story. I just couldn't understand him or his reasoning's AT ALL.  Once you read the book, you'll know what I mean. I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading more of Ms. William's books in the future.
