This book left me not knowing what to do with myself afterward. The premise is what moved me - childhood best friends who thru life's ups and down, remained friends. But what happens when one friend falls for the other. What happens when the other is oblivious to those feelings. Can friendship be salvaged? Can love blossom between the two? Will they get their Happily Ever After?
I can't say what happens, but just know that like me, you may find yourself laughing, crying, ready to tear your hair out, and heartbroken over the developments in this book. But one feeling you will be feeling above all others - Hope.
Carmen Jenner wrote a beautiful story. And while I may not have liked how the developments came to fruition, I am left with a profound sense of hope for the future - even if my heart was broken a bit along the way.
