This book was EPIC! Let me repeat that E-P-I-C!!!
After a chance meeting in an airport lounge, neither Carter or Kendall are able to point out what it is about the other that has them intrigued. Neither wants their time to end so a proposal or rather "challenge" is made. From there, it's game on! In the most delicious, fun-filled, angsty-romance packed adventure!
Thru their many ups and downs, these two draw closer & closer to the other, letting hidden truths about themselves shine out in the open and an indestructible bond is formed. This is a classic romance for the ages, with Beatles songs, trips to exotic locals, and just smart, humorous banter to help guide their way.
Of course, all things come to an end, and neither Carter, Kendall, or I saw it coming. However, in the end, with a bit of persistence, a ray or hope, and the unshakable bond of love, their ending might just become their HEA.
Vi & Penelope out did themselves with this book. I missed the first two book of the Cocky Bastard series, and am now kicking myself for having done so!
This is a definite MUST READ!
