This book had me hooked from beginning to end, so much so, I had to abandon another ARC (which didn't capture me from the 1st page). That's how gripping it was.
Although at times I felt that the "heroine" was quite juvenile at times and annoying, she slowly change right before my eyes. Tilly has definitely been thru the ringer, but she's a survivor. Conrad aka Beast is quite the departure from the typical "hero" I've read before. He's complex, insufferable, and just made me want to smack him constantly! Again, like Tilly, slowly during the course of the story he changed - but not much *wink* Then again, you don't really want him to.
Loved how the story ended as it was plausible and totally believable. My only wish was that there was a true epilogue to this story. It really deserved one.
