Review: Reckless

Reckless Reckless by Lex Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Final Score - 5 Stars!

I did not know this book would be interconnected with Shameless ... and when I found out, I immediately knew I just had to read it!

Ethan is a single dad.  He's in over his head with the daily demands of running and operating his family ranch.  He's also raising his two kids alone.  Ethan needs help, desperately.  Tori is in need of a fresh start.  She's winning no daughter of the year awards with her parents, as she always seems to make bad choices.  She's also recovering from her latest one -  the end of a horrible relationship. Her very pregnant sister manages to convince her to take the nanny position at Ethan’s ranch, as she will be close by when the baby comes.

It's the kind of story where instead of friendship leading to love, its hate that leads to understanding, friendship, and eventually love.  But what happens when there are forces that threaten your newfound peace and calm?  When untold truths are turned into disgusting lies?  Who do you believe?  Can you move forward?

This story is chalk full of emotions.  I felt for both Ethan and Tori's respective situations.  Another case of two lost souls coming together.  However, what I loved the most was their push, pull, tug of war start to their relationship.  Panty melting!  I could not put this book down and neither will you.
