Review: Life As We Know It

Life As We Know It Life As We Know It by J.D. Hollyfield
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Final Score - 5 Smokin' Stack Sam Stars!

What's a girl to do when her boy-friend dumps her, he career is literally killing her, and you've given up anything ever working out? You take a much needed break from life and take you best girl with you for some fun and relaxation, Penelope-style. But what happens when you a man on this trip - after you've sworn off MEN - who not only is beautiful to look at, his touch literally zaps straight to your heart?

You get an action packed adventure that will have you cheering Penelope's antics and wanting to be her loyal side-kick, helping her with her crazy schemes. Or was that just me? *wink* Sam was a dream and I wish her was real, cuz the world needs more men like Sam in it. I loved their banter and the development of their relationship. It was such a sweet thing to see happen and unfold.

I laughed so hard after reading this book, my head ached for days! Ms. Hollyfield is a master story-teller, weaving a hilarious comedy, a love story, and a potentially dangerous mystery that sucks you in so far, it has you imaging "What would 'I' do in this situation"? Answer: Not anything too much different, although there are definite things I would have done differently.

This is a definite must read!
