While I enjoyed this book, I found it hard to get through at times. My main bane of frustration from the beginning to end had to do with both Kieran & Fiona's secrets from each other. There were times when I wanted to slap them both for not being more forthcoming about their pasts. However, this book still ended well to me and with a realistic ending.

Another character I couldn't relate to was Rory. He was just such a dick at time towards his brother in the book. I couldn't understand it! And I was so disappointed in him... in his actions. Nearly broke my heart as I fell for him in the first book!

The character I truly fell in with was little Shea. She tugged at my heart and because of her, I got through the reading of this book. I just had to know how Fiona & Kieran's half-truths to each other would effect her - esp. given her condition.

I'm ready for the next book in this series... and hopefully, these characters - esp. Kieran & Rory - will have grown up a bit more.
